Brain-Based Activities

True Knight incorporates a variety of brain-based activities into our program. Some activities are available as part of their school day, after-school program, or camps, while others may require additional time and/or fees.

The TK Sensory Program

This program is rhythm and time-based, focusing on colors, shapes, sizes, numbers, letters, and spatial relationships. It is adapted to each student based on their cognitive ability.

Neuro-Physio Movement

An exercise program that addresses underdeveloped primitive reflexes, which can cause cognitive delays. These reflexes typically develop during early childhood.

Balametrics

The Listening Program (TLP)

Any student attending True Knight 5 days per week—day school, after school, and camp—automatically gets the TLP SPECTRUM standard protocol as part of their program. It is a 15-minute per-day listening activity. An extended protocol is two 15-minute sessions per day.

Outside Therapies

True Knight currently offers speech therapy after school. As we currently do not accept insurance, the fee is very similar to a co-pay. Parents may also schedule to have their student’s PT, OT, and speech therapies done at True Knight during our Day
